UK Harvest Pop-up Pantry
We are working with Chichester Community Development Trust to bring a brand new Pantry to The Pavilion at Graylingwell Park from Friday 3rd December! Every week local customers can come along to this amazing communal space to fill a bag of food for a suggested donation of £2.50. We offer an ever changing selection of rescued food from fresh fruit and veg, meat, daily essentials and family favourites. Our pantries are a great way to help the environment by fighting food waste while also keeping your weekly shopping costs down.
The average family throws away £60 of edible food per month and through our pantries, we provide education to help people make the most of their budget and avoid food waste in the home through creative recipes and correct storage tips.
“This project is a perfect solution for residents and the wider environment. The Pavilion is a fantastic new space designed to support people’s mental and physical wellbeing, which the Pop-Up Pantry does so perfectly in providing nutritious food and supporting the mental wellbeing gained in securing incredibly low cost food whilst protecting the planet,” comments Clare de Bathe, Director of Chichester Community Development Trust.
