Foot in the Door provides opportunities for 16 – 25-year-olds in Chichester and surrounding areas who are wanting to get into the music industry. Providing opportunities to train in Live Sound and Lighting; to take these skills into the real world; provide the platform for young performers to work in a professional venue at our regular band nights.  

Training will take place on our top-of-the-line, professional equipment so skills are developed on an industry standard mixing desk as well as giving a strong grounding on how to effectively run sound at a gig. 

Regular performance opportunities for young emerging artists of all styles are available, giving young artists a rare chance to perform at a 200-capacity venue with sound provided by the programme’s own students, mentored by industry experts. 

Training course will be delivered by tutors, who are active in the industry. Students receive an accredited qualification that they can take with them to get a ‘foot in the door’ helping them stand out in a crowded industry.
