Food and Beverage Manager
40 hours per week. Up to £35,000 per annum with the potential of performance share of service.
We are recruiting for a new position of Food & Beverage Manager to join and manage the team at our trading company Connecting Spaces. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can lead a team, develop our business, and be a friendly face to deliver excellence to our valued customers across our amazing spaces at The Pavilion and The Chapel at Graylingwell Park. The successful candidate will be experienced in managing or assisting the management of the food and beverage operations at a similar establishment. You will be a true Host, able to lead from the front, demonstrating your exceptional communication skills coupled with attention to detail, passion for service and genuine love of speaking with your guests. With strong financial acumen, to effectively manage your staff wage costs keeping them in line with agreed targets. You will have commercial acumen, and an ability to step back and analyse and develop your offerings to ensure you are exceeding the guest expectation Personable with excellent communications skills, we need a people manager, this is not an office-based role but one that encourages an open-door management style.

Sales Executive – Freelance
15 per week – initial 6-month contract. £300 per week. Performance related bonus.
We are looking for an experienced sales and account executive preferably with experience from the hospitality sector or the ability to demonstrate (paid or voluntary) experience working directly with members of the public. You will also have a proven track record of raising funds efficiently and effectively and managing income and budget expenditure against targets. You will be organised, adaptable and flexible when it comes to supporting other team members or completing duties outside of your role. Excellent verbal and written skills are also essential as you will need to be able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels. This role would suit an ambitious, driven, and enthusiastic candidate, who would like the space to be creative with a range of exciting and innovative projects in the pipeline.
This role will be supporting the team at a very busy time, as we head into the autumn season at Graylingwell Chapel and the Pavilion. You will possess strong verbal communication skills and can effectively communicate our supporters across a range of channels including e-mail, telephone and online. You will be an adaptable and flexible member of the fundraising team. You will form strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
