We’re thrilled to share that Chichester Community Development Trust (CCDT) has officially taken on responsibility for the football pitches, cricket square, and changing rooms at Shopwyke Lake — a fantastic new chapter in our commitment to supporting sport, wellbeing, and community activity across Chichester.

The beautiful new facilities will be home to Chichester Rangers Youth Football Club, providing a safe, welcoming space for local young players to train, play, and grow their skills. It will be wonderful to see the pitches coming to life with energy and enthusiasm as matches and training sessions get underway from Saturday 8 November 2025.

As part of our goal to make the most of this brilliant community asset, the football pitches, cricket square and changing rooms are now available to hire. Whether you’re part of a local club, community group, or simply want to bring people together for a friendly match, the facilities are available.
