At CCDT, we’re constantly amazed by the generosity and commitment of local and national businesses that contribute to our mission and help us bring exciting projects to life. From networking events to hands-on volunteer opportunities, local enterprises play a key role in strengthening our community, enhancing our spaces, and making a lasting difference.
Chichester Business Networking: Where Local Businesses Connect
Every month, we host the fantastic Chichester Business Networking event on the first Thursday, in partnership with Andy Hara of Harbour Wealth Management. This free, local business networking event is an incredible opportunity for entrepreneurs and companies to connect, collaborate, and share ideas. It’s all about building strong relationships within the local business community. (Click here for more details).
Supporting CCDT Through Sponsorships & Funding
We are always open to welcoming both local and national businesses to get involved in supporting our work. Whether it’s funding community programs or contributing to large-scale projects, the partnerships we build are vital in sustaining our mission. A big thank you to Vistry Group, one of the UK’s largest homebuilders, who have generously sponsored us with the exciting addition of an outdoor pizza oven for our Pavilion!
It’s not just about financial support—it’s about creating projects that serve the community and bring people together. Vistry’s commitment to improving spaces and contributing to local needs, from parks and schools to this pizza oven project, is something we are proud to be part of. The Power of Volunteering
Volunteering is one of the most impactful ways local businesses and schools support our work. We’re seeing more businesses and schools taking advantage of our volunteering opportunities to engage in meaningful projects. From gardening and heritage work to general space maintenance, these volunteering efforts not only improve our spaces but also create a deeper connection to the community. It’s a win-win for everyone involved!
Collaborative Use of Our Venues
Our venues are not just beautiful spaces; they’re places where businesses can gather, collaborate, and grow. We’ve had the pleasure of hosting women’s wellness fairs in our Chapel and welcoming senior leadership teams from various businesses to hold strategy away days in our learning room, as well as a full day of workshops for 140 students from Reading University. By hosting these events, we are building strong relationships with businesses that contribute to our growth while providing a space for them to grow as well.
Exciting News: A Pizza Oven is Coming!
We are excited to announce a new addition to our Pavilion, thanks to the generous support from Vistry Group: an outdoor pizza oven! We can’t wait to see it in action. The pizza oven will provide a fun, communal space for everyone to enjoy, helping us bring even more people together and continue building a sense of community.
Over the coming months, we will be sharing updates about this amazing project. Stay tuned as we bring this project to life!
Conclusion
At CCDT, we believe that collaboration is the key to building strong communities. Whether it’s through events, sponsorships, volunteer efforts, or venue use, local businesses play a crucial role in helping us build something truly special. We are immensely grateful for every contribution, big and small.
If you or your business are interested in getting involved, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re always looking for ways to collaborate with like-minded businesses to strengthen our community and make a positive impact. Let’s continue to work together and create spaces where everyone can thrive!
