The Chichester Bike Project is growing, and with that growth comes an exciting opportunity to join the team!
They’re currently recruiting a Bike Project Supervisor to help run the busy workshop and shop, support the brilliant volunteers, and make sure the Bike Project continues delivering a welcoming, high-quality service to the community.
As a community-led social enterprise, they’re all about making cycling accessible for everyone. From affordable repairs and pre-loved bikes to workshops, events, and volunteering opportunities, the mission is to empower people, promote sustainable travel, and build stronger communities across Chichester.
About the Role:
As Bike Project Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the project. This includes:
- Supervising workshop and shop sessions
- Supporting volunteers and mechanics
- Repairing, servicing, and refurbishing bikes
- Engaging with the community through events and outreach
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about bikes and people. You’ll ideally have:
- Experience as a bike mechanic (Cytech Level 2 or equivalent)
- Confidence supervising and supporting others
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A shared commitment to inclusive, community-driven values
