Artist Mandy McKenna is coming to Chichester to open her new shop – Mandy McKenna Designs in Crane Street Chichester through the Chichester District Council ‘Pop-Up’ small business scheme 2021, and will be helping to raise funds for our community projects throughout her time there.
During the 8 weeks Mandy will be in Chichester she has chosen to support the Chichester Community Development Trust. Customers can win a luxury hamper filled with products from Mandy McKenna Designs and from her special guests by entering a draw when they visit the shop. In doing so she will be helping us to empower people by developing skills and supporting projects that create local opportunities, employment and build community spirit, so please do go along to see her wonderful collection and enter the prize draw to be in with a chance of winning this amazing prize.
Opening on 30th May for 8 weeks, Mandy will be offering an exciting collection of her hand made floral range of pottery, artwork, painted furniture and gifts for your home and business.
The shop will be more than just a shop. Mandy is running an 8 week programme of events to create a wonderful experience for customers to pop in and watch how she paints, creates and designs her beautiful products. Her projects include:- Easel Action, Powerful Pottery, Watercolour Wash, Potty Pottery Wheel, Ultimate Up-cycled Chairs & Furniture, Clay Flowers, Floral Hearts and Christmas Decorations.
Mandy believes that art is very therapeutic and has linked her work by inviting several Special Guests who all live in locally to Chichester and have worked with Mandy on several occasion in business and fund-raising projects showing how her art can add rest and relaxation to all ages.
