Title: Community Organiser
Role: 15 hours per week – 12-month contract 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2025
£15.00 per hour – Self Employed contracting offer
Chichester Community Development Trust are looking for a Community Organiser to join their small, busy, close-knit team. Community organisers reach out and listen, connect and motivate people to build their collective power. Community Organisers listen to local people – one to one and in groups. They do this by knocking on doors and by going to local places where people gather. As a Community Organiser you will listen to residents, workers and groups through door knocking, street stalls, 1:1 meetings and other methods and interpret, report and make use of the findings.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong and demonstrable community spirit who are committed to working with volunteers to develop the community.
