At Chichester Community Development Trust (CCDT), we’re all about building strong, vibrant, and connected communities—and there’s no better example of this than what’s happening right now across Graylingwell Park and beyond.
From restoring beautiful heritage buildings to running creative programmes and empowering local people, our projects are built on collaboration, inclusion, and vision. Whether you live at Graylingwell Park or support CCDT in other ways, you’re part of something truly meaningful—and we think that’s worth celebrating.
Have Your Say: The Future of the Red Brick Pavilion
Right now, we’re inviting the wider Chichester community to help shape the future of a much-loved local landmark: the Red Brick Pavilion at Priory Park.
As part of ongoing discussions with Chichester District Council about what’s possible for this beautiful building, we’re hosting a Thinking Day to gather ideas from the people who know and love it most—local residents.
Guildhall, Priory Park
Wednesday, 23 April
3pm – 6pm
It’s an informal drop-in event, so come along and share your ideas—whether you see it as a space for creativity, community, or something else entirely. We’re excited to hear what you think.
Graylingwell Park: A Thriving Hub of Creativity and Connection
Those who are already connected with Graylingwell Park know it’s more than just a place to live—it’s a place to belong. CCDT has spent the last decade transforming spaces and sparking opportunities across the area.
Take Graylingwell Chapel, for example. Once a neglected heritage site, it’s now a welcoming hub for wellbeing, culture, and community life. With everything from family-friendly storytelling sessions to live music, exhibitions, and a café full of flavour, it’s a space where something’s always happening.
Then there’s the Chichester Bike Project—teaching practical skills, offering training, and helping local people discover confidence on two wheels.
The Marchwell Studios at Graylingwell Park will soon be transformed into dedicated creative workspace for artists and makers—another exciting chapter in our mission to support enterprise and self-expression right here in the heart of Chichester.
Why It Matters
If you’re part of the Graylingwell Park community, you’re already connected to something truly special. CCDT’s work is helping to shape not just spaces, but futures—supporting people to grow, create, learn, and lead.
And if you haven’t yet got involved? There’s no better time. From volunteering and workshops to events and enterprise opportunities, we’d love to welcome you into the heart of our community.
