Your café, at the heart of Minerva Heights
Chichester Community Development Trust is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic café operator to launch the Minerva Centre Café Bar, and the tender opens on 30 September.
The Minerva Centre is a new community building at the centre of Minerva Heights, one of Chichester’s largest new neighbourhoods, which will grow to around 1,500 homes. It has a primary school next door, a 40-space car park, a micro library and a busy programme of meetings, events and well-being activities. The café will be a welcoming focal point and as the founding operator you’ll be there from day one.
What’s on offer
- A prominent 120m² reception and café space with outdoor seating
- A fitted café counter and commercial catering kitchen provided by CCDT
- First refusal on catering for room hire and programmed activities in the centre
- Alcohol sales permitted, subject to licensing
- A licence fee of £750 per month, with a three-year initial term, no security deposit and no service charge
We’re looking for an operator with a great café offer and a real interest in community: inclusive, family-friendly, healthy and sustainable.
