We’re proud to announce the rebranding of our café space in the Pavilion, which is transforming into the Common Room! It is a refreshed, flexible space designed for connection, collaboration and community.
This isn’t just a name change. It’s a reimagining of how the space can work for you.
The Pavilion Common Room will continue to be a welcoming hub, but with greater flexibility and purpose.
Available for Hire
The Pavilion Common Room isn’t just a shared space, it’s also available for hire.
We’re looking for new opportunities to fill this space with fresh ideas. Are you an independent or local organisation involved in:
- Artisan food producers and bakers
- Pop-up retail (e.g. greengrocers, farm shops, fresh produce stalls, zero-waste refill concepts)
- Local makers, gift and lifestyle retailers
- Wellbeing-led or family-friendly concepts
- Creative workshops

The Common Room could be the perfect platform. We’re always looking to create meaningful partnerships that bring value to both residents and the wider community.
We can offer flexibility for one-off hires or longer-term arrangements (such as weekly bookings).
We are also planning to fit a vending machine in The Pavilion from 1 April 2026.
If you were interested in running something aligned with the above, perhaps a bakery pop-up, monthly supper club, specialist producer stall, or workshop concept rather than a café operation, we’d be very happy to explore that with you.
Sundowners in the Pavilion
Pavilion Sundowners are back and they’re about to get even better! In partnership with Annie’s Food Inspirations, the very popular summer Sundowners are returning to The Pavilion on Friday and Saturday early evenings with live music and a licensed bar starting from Easter! The newly named Common Room (previously the Cafe area) will be open for hire for pop-ups and workshops, and we’d love some fresh ideas for this space. Our ideas are for a pantry, or artisan makers, which we think would be hugely popular, but we’re open to suggestions, so get in touch if you or someone you know is interested in using this space.

The Common Room represents more than a redesign. It’s a shift towards creating a truly multifunctional community hub, somewhere that feels just as right for a quiet coffee break as it does for a lively evening event.
