Refugee Tales to the Chapel

We are welcoming Refugee Tales to the Chapel on the 10th July for an evening of music and spoken letters.

Refugee Tales is a walking arts festival raising awareness of immigration detention in the UK.
On 10th July at 7pm, the host for an evening with Refugee Tales at Graylingwell Chapel is Lord Stern of Brentford, economist and Head of the Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change.

Kamila Shamsie reads a letter to Refugee Tales, shared for the very first time. The evening also features a letter from the Refugee Tales lived experience community.

Music is by prize winning Scottish-Indian classical guitarist Samrat Majumder who is an ambassador for the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and co-founder of the Classical Guitar Reach Foundation of India and who brings an exquisite programme ranging from Bach to Sor and Dowland to Schubert.
