We’re hiring: Join CCDT as our new Office Administrator

Are you an organised, proactive multitasker who loves making things run smoothly behind the scenes? We’re looking for an Office Administrator to join our friendly, values-led team at Chichester Community Development Trust (CCDT).

This is a varied and vital role at the heart of our operations — supporting day-to-day administration, coordinating events and room bookings, and helping us spread the word about our work through marketing and communications. You’ll work closely with staff, volunteers, partners, and suppliers to help keep everything running efficiently.

Office Administrator

£25k pro rata

20 hours per week – ideally Monday to Friday afternoons

12-month contract

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate bookings for community spaces and events
  • Provide admin support to the wider team and CEO
  • Keep things ticking with systems like Xero, Microsoft Office, and Canva
  • Create flyers, social media posts, and online listings
  • Help us tell our story by gathering quotes, images, and feedback
  • Support events, suppliers, newsletters, and reporting

About you:

  • Organised and adaptable with a hands-on attitude
  • Confident with software like Outlook, Excel, and Canva
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Interested in people, community, and storytelling
  • Experience working in a charity or community setting is a bonus
