Hello, June! A Month of Sunshine, Community & Celebration

As the summer sun brightens our days, it’s wonderful to see our parks and green spaces buzzing with life. We’re hoping for plenty more warm days ahead – because there’s so much to look forward to this month!

Havenstoke Park & Keepers Green – Havenstoke Park is in its prime, and we’re thrilled to announce that the football pitches are now open for community use! A local team will kick off regular play in August 2025, bringing even more energy to our green spaces. Meanwhile, cricket is back at Keepers Green, thanks to our friends at Chichester Cricket Club—another fantastic way to enjoy summer this year.

Live Music at The Pavilion – One sure sign of summer? Live music making a return! Join us for Friday evening sessions at The Pavilion on June 13, 20, and 27 from 6–8pm. The decking is the perfect spot to unwind with friends, but it fills up fast – so arrive early to grab the best seat!

The Big Lunch Picnic – June 8 – A time to relax, connect, and celebrate community spirit, the Big Lunch picnic is one not to miss! With free ice cream for the little ones (thanks to Clarion Futures and Grange Management) and live music for all, it’s set to be a wonderful afternoon. Pack your own picnic or enjoy lunch from Caccia & Tails—either way, it’ll be a brilliant event.

TrinityFest – June 15 – The CCDT team will be at TrinityFest, building LEGO spaces and gathering ideas for our next community building. Come by, say hello, and share your vision – one brick at a time!

A Big Thank You – We’re grateful to Seaford College for their help in improving our green spaces during their Community Day, and to Vistry for installing new fencing at The Chapel, creating a more peaceful spot to enjoy a drink or snack.

From parks to pitches, gardens to gigs, there’s plenty to enjoy this June. And if you want to help shape what’s next, reach out – we’d love to hear your ideas!

Here’s to a season of sunshine, community, and connection.
