Social Enterprise Rate (£16.50/hour):

  • Voluntary and community organisations – registered charities, local volunteer groups, or community associations.

  • Services working with CCDT residents – organisations or programmes providing activities, support, or outreach to residents connected with CCDT.

  • Public sector and educational organisations – schools, colleges, local authorities, and other government-funded bodies.

Standard Rate (£25/hour):

  • Private and commercial enterprises – businesses, freelancers, or commercial organisations hiring the space for profit-making activities.

When booking the Shed, you can now include the optional hire of the Green for an additional fee of £20 an hour.

The Chichester Shed – Available for Hire

Overlooking the cricket pitch and community garden at Keepers Green in Chichester, the Chichester Shed is a versatile, purpose-built space with its own kitchen facilities. Floor-to-ceiling windows and abundant natural daylight create a bright, welcoming atmosphere in the large open-plan area.

The space is perfect for community groups, youth service providers, intergenerational activities and creative workshops. The space was designed by young people aged 11–18, and up to 25 for those with special educational needs (SEN), so is ideally suited for this age group. Whether you’re running a community session or leading a creative workshop, the Chichester Shed provides the perfect environment to bring your ideas to life.

Hiring Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm: open to all
  • Monday to Friday after 3:00 pm, and all day at weekends: available for activities supporting ages 11–18, and up to 25 for young people with SEN.

Kitchen Facilities

  • Fully equipped with an under-counter fridge, and air fryer
  • Kettle, toaster, coffee machine, and smoothie maker
  • Kitchen utensils, plus china, glasses, and cutlery for up to 30 guests

Main Space

  • Ground-level access with full disabled access
  • Floor-to-ceiling windows, including two glazed doors
  • Open-plan design is ideal for workshops, sessions, and activities
  • Free Wi-Fi available

Accessibility

  • WC accessed via the outside, designed for disabled access

Discover Your Future Youth​

Wednesdays during term time / 12-2pm

Discover Your Future Youth is a collaborative program we operate in partnership with local secondary schools. This initiative provides essential support to young individuals who face challenges in their school journey for various reasons. Through this program, students benefit from life coaching sessions and engaging fitness workshops, all designed to enhance their self-esteem, overall productivity, and well-being.
