Get yourself down to Keepers Green for a little ping pong action…. Wednesday 26th August sees the delivery of two brand new, fantastic outdoor table tennis tables between the Lodge car park and the community garden, along Blomfield Drive, for ALL to use.
Ping! Chichester tables are there for everybody to enjoy, any time the mood takes them. Enjoy a quick game of singles or get together with friends, family and neighbours and schedule a tournament. You can play it over a few weeks, catching a match when time allows. Templates for tournaments or other game formats can be downloaded below for that professional touch!
Sadly, due to Covid-19, Chichester Community Development Trust can’t leave bats and balls for people to use and share as they’d hoped, but we do have some to give away! Those who share this post on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, tagging @chichestercdt before this Friday at 5pm will be in with the chance of winning one of three sets! Others will need to bring their own bats and balls, but they can be found cheaply on Amazon or with other sellers. Those who can’t wait that long could always try out a recently retired flip flop in place of a bat!!
The Ping! Tables sit right alongside the soon to be completed cricket pitch at Keepers Green, making it a perfect spot for communities to come together and enjoy time outdoors, having fun and enjoying themselves.
If you haven’t booked in already, come along and see the tables in action at our Welcome to the Lodge at Keepers Green event on Friday 11th September from 5-7pm. Free to attend, pay bar and pizza van on site, free children’s activities for families to enjoy…. Don’t forget to bring your bats and balls if you want to have a go! FlipPing brilliant!
