83 runs down and parkrun has come home!
Chichester parkrun has come home! It has relocated to Havenstoke Park (Graylingwell Park) whilst maintenance and improved access work takes place at Oaklands Park.
Back in 2013, we were equally pleased and disappointed. The new parkrun Chichester, which we had supported in the start phase and secured funding for from Chichester DC, held its first run. However, the run didn’t start at Graylingwell Park as we had hoped (because the run would have to cross a road to get to Chichester Uni) but was held instead at Oaklands Park. It has been successfully running there for a total of 83 runs.
The first of the parkruns at Graylingwell took place on Saturday 5th March. It was a bright and sunny morning to welcome the runners. See the race report for more photos and to see how much fun parkruns are!
