Community Café & recycling workshop @ Community Hall, Roussillon Park
Aug 13 @ 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
Community Café & recycling workshop @ Community Hall, Roussillon Park | Chichester | United Kingdom

This weeks community cafe will feature a very popular recycling workshop with CCDT’s recycling expert Kate Keays.

Recycling, its our responsibility…

What happens next after you put yours in your bin?

What you can and can’t recycle.

Come and meet CCDT’s Waste prevention volunteer Kate to find out more and ask your recycling/waste prevention questions.

To ensure that we remain within the socially distanced parameters for this space, please do book yourself a place at this cafe session here – it is entirely free, simply limiting numbers to the building’s capacity. The cafe will also give you a chance to have a coffee and something delicious on us, and catch up with each other and CCDT’s wonderful Angie.  Nothing beats catching up with friends and neighbours face to face. Never more so than now.

Please drop in to the Community Hall at Roussillon Park any time from 10.30-12.00 on Thursdays and you will join some of the CCDT team, and hopefully other friends and neighbours of yours – it will be a chance for us all to see and hear each other.  A great chance to come together, whilst remaining safely socially distanced.

Saturday Cafe @ The Lodge

The Saturday cafe returns for the first time since lockdown on Saturday 15th August, hosted by the Graylingwell Park Residents Association.

A free event, where donations are welcomed for the coffee, tea and freshly baked cakes that are available.  This is a wonderful way to connect with neighbours, meet new people and hear more about what is going on in the local area.  Now more than ever, it is so important for us all to feel connected and continue to nurture that wonderful sense of community built up during the challenging months we have experienced.

All social distancing measures will be applied with numbers limited, hand gel available, and thorough cleaning before and after the event.

Fish & Chips Quiz Night @ The Lodge
Aug 19 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Fish & Chips Quiz Night @ The Lodge

We are absolutely delighted to announce that the wonderful fish & chip quiz night, that has persevered throughout lockdown as a virtual event, can now return as a real life experience, to be hosted in the new Lodge at Keepers Green from the 19th August.

All social distancing measures will be applied, with numbers limited to a maximum of 24 spaces; tables laid out to provide spacing between each participant from different households; hand gel to be used before and during the event; food delivered to your table; and full cleaning before and after the event. We must also ask that those wanting fish & chips bring their own plates and cutlery, with your own drinks and glasses brought with you, and taken home for cleaning.

The cost of the event per person will be as it was before lockdown:

£3.50 to participate in the quiz

£9.00 if you would also like Fish & Chips

Registrations should be made here or by clicking on the ‘tickets’ button above – there is no charge at this point but it will inform us of your name and email so that we can inform you of any changes should social distancing regulations be changed between now and the event, and ensure we do not exceed our allocated spaces. If you can no longer attend for any reason we fully understand but we would be very grateful if you could let us know so we can free spaces up for others. Money will be taken on the door using a handheld chip and pin machine, or please bring the correct amount in cash.  Pre-registration is ESSENTIAL due to the limited places.

Thank you for your ongoing support of this wonderful event.  Doors will open at 6:30pm for the quiz to start promptly at 7:00pm.
