Dance & Beyond: Mini movers Ballet & Tap @ The Community Hall

Ballet is the foundation of dance; it provides the technique necessary to flourish in all other dance styles. We follow the Royal Academy of Dance curriculum and teach it a fun and engaging way, systematically working towards examinations to develop our students’ sense of achievement!

We are giving all children the opportunity to come and try out any lesson on our timetable for FREE for the first two weeks.

Buggy fit is an outdoor exercise class aimed specifically at postnatal mums. The class allows you to bring baby with you so you both get the benefit of fresh air! After childbirth life changes dramatically and you spend most of your time with baby activities but studies show taking time for yourself, especially taking up exercise is fantastic not only for your fitness but also your mental health too. Exercise promotes a better metabolism relieving stress whilst improving stamina all making for a happier mummy. Buggyfit comes with the added bonus of exercising with like- minded women enabling you to make new friends and benefit from the social fun these classes bring.

Buggyfit classes incorporate cardio vascular and fat-burning exercises with strength training and toning, concentrating on the specific areas that need work after childbirth. The great thing is that this mix produces maximum results for each class members as it not only tones those problem areas but helps to raise the metabolic rate and aid in weight loss too.

We meet outside the Sales office at Havenstoke Park.

Keeping Stronger for Longer: Low impact aerobics, stretching and toning exercises and strength and balance work using resistance bands etc. Our exercise system is designed to improve circulation, increase mobility and flexibility and work on posture, muscle strength and balance. It’s also quite good fun!

We are a not for profit organisation.

Dance and Sing! A fun class where students learn choreography and sing Musical Theatre and all time Pop hits developing their story telling and acting skills.

We are giving all children the opportunity to come and try out any lesson on our timetable for FREE for the first two weeks!

Begin your weekend beautifully with this Vinyasa yoga flow. Linking breath to movement, we will connect to our bodies, wake up our muscles and calm our minds. We will move through different asanas (postures), sun salutations (flowing sequence of asanas) and pranayama (breathing exercises) that will help you nourish a healthy body and soul.

 

All levels are welcome. If you are new to yoga, I will do my best to support you. Yoga is for everyone, so come along and try it out for free!

 

Some mats will be provided but please bring your own if you have them. Bring a bottle of water if you’d like.

 

Please arrive a few minutes early; you are welcome in to the hall from 10.15am to set up your space.

 

Your first session is free, thereafter: £7 drop in, or £30 for 5 sessions. You are welcome to pay in cash or receive other payment details at the end of the session.
