What we do
Youth Ambassadors at Chichester Community Development Trust

Youth Ambassadors

The Youth Ambassadors are young people from Chichester, aged 12 – 18, with diverse backgrounds and experiences. They reach out to their communities to listen to their concerns and act to organise and deliver social impact projects to better the community for everyone. All activities are youth-led and provide personal development opportunities.

The Youth Ambassadors create their own agenda, plan activities and go on residential trips, which give everyone a chance to bond.  Recent residential trips include a few days at Lodge Hill, an outdoor centre which creates team-building activities, and a trip to Fort Purbrook.

Here are a couple of blog posts which give you a flavour of issues that the group want to tackle:

Junior Ambassadors

The younger voice of the local community. As with the Youth Ambassadors, the Junior Ambassadors is all about the younger generation working as ambassadors in their community. This new programme offers the chance for 7 to 11 year olds to get involved.
